Thanks again Tony for the spec sheet!!!! GEOFF You all here at the ATHS site sure make it enjoyable and educational. Can't wait until I get time to really relax and enjoy the equipment sights that were suggested here. AND I DID! I'm doing year end bookwork, trying to entertain family home for Christmas, teaching a young cousin how to shoot an AR15 before he goes off to the Marines in January, have 25 guys pruning in the orchard, etc. You are very kind to care enough to help me out with this info! I know road equipment is probably off topic over here on a truck site, but a lot of us have similar interests and I trust you guys so much that I knew I'd get good answers. It has a scarifyer so the weight would line up with your spec sheet also. Of course that's CAT horsepower, lots of torque it seems at low rpm! I weighed it when I brought it home and it weighed right at 14,000 lbs. It fits perfect with the spec sheet as you say a 212, 10foot blade, 4 cylinder diesel, and it pulls about like what I'd expect out of 45 horsepower. I really had no clue as to what model this old grader of mine was and noone around here that I asked, including the man I bought it from knew. Tony, That would've been me sir! I REALLY thankyou for attaching the spec sheet. Here are some specs on Cat 12, 112 and 212 graders. Who was trying to identify their old Cat grader? I read a thread yesterday but can’t find it again.
